The split-sole design eliminates bulk in the arch, provides maximum metatarsal protection, and allows the flattest platform to pivot on.
What sets the Hanami apart from other ballet shoes is the patented technology that creates a seamless diamond gusset in the arch of the shoe. This means there is no harshly stitched line down the center that will interfere with how you point and flex.

The canvas is so soft, and very stretchy. Fits very well to the shape of my foot, and the suede ball/heel on the outer sole are perfect for turning on marley floors. The leather pads on the ball/heel of the inner sole are also thick enough for comforting jumps, but thin enough to still feel the floor well. I really love the Hanami s!
I wear a women’s street shoe size 9, and I have very wide feet (wide toe area). The 11 wide size is absolutely perfect for me.
Perfect for my daughter. She would not buy any other flat shoe.
My dancers like these shoes for their comfort and overall look - however they seem to be of lower grade and about 40% of the Capezio Hanami slippers I order split at the attachment between the colored fabric and the sole in the first class they're worn in. Not a great investment for show shoes.
Super soft and jet black. I had to throw one pair in the dryer for one dancer who said they were too large, they held up just fine. On the whole I think they run a touch larger than the noted size adjustments would have you think.
